Baby Tiger Productions, Daniel Wallace and Trish Whitehurst in association with the Falcon Theatre are proud to present the American premiere of The Grönholm Method written by Jordi Galcerán, translated by Anne Garcia-Romero and Mark St. Germain and directed by BT McNicholl, the first production of the Falcon Theatre’s 2012-2013 Subscription Season.

How far would you go to get that dream job? Just what would you be willing to do? Four corporate warriors come together in one room to compete for one senior management position using “The Grönholm Method,” a system meant to separate the weak from the strong. But the weak may not be as weak as they appear. A wicked comedy that feels like a thriller, it’s a fool’s game of betrayals, reversals and manipulations that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

“A scathing, delightfully twisted satire…Jean-Paul Sartre meets Yasmina Reza…What starts as a smart, quirky little comedy devolves into a scathing treatise on how modern corporate culture seeks out and rewards the most ruthlessly immoral behavior.”

“Riveting…An absolutely smashing satire of corporate gamesmanship…on this winding journey of mind-bending surprises, you’re not likely to hold your breath in a theater with more expectancy this year.”

“Wickedly funny, extremely cerebral…Director BT McNicholl often takes the audience to the sharp edges of a cliff, but every decision has been carefully planned. In the end, The Gronholm Method will leave the audience laughing – as well as astounded by their own cutthroat nature.”

“A rather ingeniously constructed psychological maze…with a skilled cast of actors.”
--LA Stage Times

“The insightful script throws us head first into the nightmare of a Human Resources department run amok. The cast is uniformly excellent. ”

"WOW! The Grönholm Method’s intermissionless, real-time ninety minutes, filled with at least as many surprise twists as Ira Levin’s Deathtrap, all the way up to its mind-bending very last line of dialog. It’s hard to imagine a better cast than the one now on stage at the Falcon, performances which director BT McNicholl has fine-tuned to razor-sharp perfection."

"With a vibrant cast and skillful direction from BT McNicholl, The Gronholm Method wins over its audience not with its message, but rather with its grand theatricality. Go to The Gronholm Method and be prepared for the unexpected! You will laugh, you may cry; you may not see anything new about the corporate structure but the innovative, unpredictable form of the play is bound to delight, excite and keep you talking long after the curtain comes down. Let the games begin!"
