Everyone's favorite ladies from Chinquapin, Louisiana, return in Robert Harling's award-winning stage comedy, offering audiences a hearty helping of love, laughter and tears. As six women gather in a beauty parlor over the period of two years to discuss everything from favorite recipes and local beauty queens to births and death, they find strength within themselves and comfort in each other's company.

Ovation Award best actress nominees Beth Grant (nominated for The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife at Zephyr Theatre) and Madison Dunaway (nominated for Agnes of God at International City Theatre) highlight this all-star ensemble cast, which includes TV veterans Kathryn Joosten (West Wing), Karen Valentine (Room 222 and Karen), Ruta Lee (1st & Ten) and Beth Anne Garrison.

Falcon Theatre is located at 4252 Riverside Drive in Burbank. Directions

“With perfect pacing from director D. Lynn Meyers, this ensemble delivers the goods copiously and makes Steel Magnolias as unforgettable now as it was in the 80s. ”

“Inspired casting and first-rate sets and costumes support a praiseworthy revival at the Falcon Theatre... Steel Magnolias still has the emotional stamina to make weeping willows of us all.”

“[Karen] Valentine is nothing short of brilliant…
Beth Grant gives another knockout performance…
Beth Anne Garrison makes a sweet and stoic Shelby…
Madison Dunaway easily engages as Annelle…
Ruta Lee is striking as the widowed Clairee…
[and] Kathryn Joosten is surprisingly low-key in a role that usually becomes the play's loudest, an approach that works beautifully.”

“The Falcon Theatre has staged a winning revival of this sturdy crowd pleaser…and you’re not likely to find a more bewitching cast of actresses to bring it to life.”
